LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday unveiled a revised pick order for the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 draft.

In a significant reshuffling, the draft categories have been reduced, with the previous three Platinum categories now consolidated into two, and the number of Diamond categories reduced from three to one.

The Gold categories have been trimmed from three to two, and the Silver categories have been reduced from five to three.

In the Platinum 1 category, Lahore Qalandars have secured the first pick, followed by Karachi Kings, Quetta Gladiators, Peshawar Zalmi, Multan Sultans, and Islamabad United.

Meanwhile, in the Platinum 2 category, Quetta Gladiators have the first pick, followed by Karachi Kings.

This announcement comes after the PCB confirmed the revised schedule and venue for the much-anticipated PSL 10 player draft, which will now be held on January 13 at Huzuri Bagh Lahore, at 12:30 PM (Pakistan Standard Time).

The event, initially scheduled to take place in Gwadar, Balochistan, was relocated due to "unforeseen logistical challenges."

The PCB also revealed that Gwadar will be one of the key locations for the PSL 2025 Trophy Tour across Pakistan.

Meanwhile, the six teams have also announced their retentions ahead of the PSL 10 player draft.

Islamabad United (8):

  • Platinum: Shadab Khan, Naseem Shah
  • Diamond: Imad Wasim (mentor), Azam Khan
  • Gold: Salman Ali Agha (brand ambassador), Haider Ali
  • Silver: Colin Munro, Rumman Raees

Multan Sultans (7):

  • Platinum: Mohammad Rizwan, Usama Mir
  • Diamond: David Willey (mentor), Iftikhar Ahmed (brand ambassador), Usman Khan
  • Gold: Chris Jordan
  • Silver: Faisal Akram

Peshawar Zalmi (7):

  • Platinum: Babar Azam, Saim Ayub
  • Diamond: Mohammad Haris
